Impeller Speed Calculation / Gear Ratios

Easily calculate your impeller speed, at a given engine RPM, using the following formula:

Impeller RPM = (Crank Pulley diameter / Supercharger Pulley diameter * Gear ratio * Engine RPM)

(Reference – some gear ratios)
3.05 – 64/ 21 C – BD-11A
3.05 – 74/ 24 T – P600B fine tooth
3.61 – 65/ 18 T – P600B coarse tooth
3.45 – 93/ 27 T – XB-1A – straight cut
3.45 – 93/ 27 T – V1, V4, V5, V7 – straight cut
3.45 – 93/ 27 T – NOVI 1500 – straight cut
3.50 – 105/30 T – Paxton NOVI 2000, 2500, 1000
3.61 – 83/ 23 T – Vortech V7 / NOVI 2200 – helical cut
3.61 – 83/ 23 T – V2, V3, V5, V9 – helical cut
3.61 – 83/ 23 T – Paxton NOVI 1200 – helical cut
4.10 – 98/ 24 T – P1SC, D1SC, M3SC – straight cut
4.10 – 94/ 23 T – P1SC, D1SC, M3SC – helical cut
5.00 – 100/20 T – F1, F2 fine tooth
5.40 – 81/ 15 T – F1, F2 coarse tooth
5.63 – 90/ 16 T – F3 coarse tooth

* Our opinion – For longer life, never spin ANY unit past 50K, no matter what the “rating” is.
